Early 2000s Digital Pet

Growing up was hard - I was bullied and isolated at an early age.
And I found solace on the internet, with literal strangers and bright colored fantasy animals.
It saved me, gave me a reason to want to wake up in the morning, taught me how to write stories better, got me into digital art. I'd go back often, when I felt like my life was falling apart again.

It probably played a large part of developing Maladaptive Daydreaming.

But at least I wasn't alone.
